Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking motivated and dependable Coax and Fiber Installation Technicians to join our growing team in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Technicians will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of coaxial and fiber optic services for residential and commercial customers. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in various environments and weather conditions. This position requires flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, overtime, and holidays as business needs dictate. Responsibilities Install, activate, and troubleshoot coaxial and fiber optic services. Run, terminate, and test coaxial and fiber optic cabling. Perform installs, repairs, and upgrades. Ensure all installations meet company quality and safety standards. Educate customers on installed products and services. Accurately complete work orders and required documentation. Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle. Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition. Follow all company, customer, and OSHA safety requirements. Requirements Previous telecommunications, cable, fiber, low-voltage, or related experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a DMV driving record check and criminal background check. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic technical and troubleshooting abilities. Reliable transportation to and from assigned reporting locations as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights of up to 32 feet using ladders and other climbing equipment. Ability to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces and attics. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials weighing up to 90 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
