HIPAA Full Job Description Position Overview:
Raleigh Foot & Ankle Specialists, a division of US Foot and Ankle Specialist, is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Laser Technician to join our growing podiatry team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a positive clinical environment. You'll help deliver laser treatment services for toenail fungus (onychomycosis) while supporting a smooth and welcoming patient experience from start to finish. Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Perform laser treatments for toenail fungus (onychomycosis) Educate patients on treatment expectations and aftercare instructions Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records Schedule appointments and assist with patient follow-up Sterilize instruments and maintain clean treatment areas Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to support continuity of care Deliver professional, compassionate, and high-quality patient service
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
2+ years of experience in a medical office, podiatry, dermatology, aesthetics, or similar clinical setting preferred Experience performing laser treatments or working with cosmetic/medical laser devices Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and adapt Must maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) preferred
