About The Role:
This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Instrumentation:
Troubleshoot, configure, maintain: PLC Systems Single loop controls for various field systems Instillation, calibration, troubleshooting various manufactures of instruments and analytical equipment Shop and field repair of final control elements such as pneumatic valves, electric valves, solenoid operated valves, calibration of pneumatic and SMART valve positioners Routine and regulatory calibration of field instruments for boilers and environmental systems Read and redline loop sheets, P&IDs Read and interpret wiring diagrams & electrical schematics Other duties as assigned
Electrician:
Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturers Troubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches Reading and interpreting electrical schematics Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv electrical distribution systems and related equipment Troubleshoot, install, and repair programmable logic controllers and lighting systems Other duties as assigned
About You:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities At least 18 years of age Minimum high school graduate or GED Eligible for employment in the US AND one of the following: At least three (3) years of work experience in
INSTRUMENTATION
systems; OR At least three (3) years of work experience in
ELECTRICAL
systems Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
