Full-Time / Exempt Position Summary An Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. They work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, ensuring electrical components operate safely and efficiently. Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and electrical components. Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and schematics. Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on complex systems. Document work performed and maintain service records. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience preferred High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical technology preferred. Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC). Good problem-solving and communication skills. Physical ability to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment.

Pay:

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
