Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BAS Installer Lead to join our team. As a BAS Installer Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of BAS installers in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of BAS installers in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems.
  • Plan and organize daily tasks for the team, assign duties, and ensure that work is completed on time.
  • Train and mentor new team members in proper installation techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or certification in building automation systems is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of building automation systems and their components.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
