Metrology LC Engineer

Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical testing and manufacturing lab in Wilmington, NC. We are seeking an experienced Metrology LC Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for

• Performs and/or reviews qualification, performance evaluation, maintenance and service of laboratory equipment and completes documentation required by SOPs
• Writes, executes and/or reviews

IQ, OQ, PQ

protocols for new and existing instruments and equipment

• Maintains instrument records including qualification, performance evaluation, and maintenance and service documentation, including maintenance of associated databases
• Coordinates qualification, performance evaluation, maintenance and service performed by metrology and outside vendors for laboratory equipment
• Maintains training requirements on all necessary disciplines
• Recognizes aberrant data and reports/assists manager with equipment investigations
• Maintains adherence to safety standards as required by QCL SOP's
• Writes SOPs for laboratory equipment, as required
• Preferred experience using Empower software
• Preferred experience of maintaining High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) or Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC
• Preferred 2-3 years of general
