Job Summary The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician is highly skilled in providing hands-on technical support to engineers in the design and optimization of manufacturing processes. This role assists with developing production floor layouts and conducting process trials to ensure efficient and reliable operations. The technician documents test procedures and results with accuracy, supports the implementation of new processes, and resolves routine technical issues. They play a key role in bridging engineering and production by applying strong practical expertise to improve safety, quality, and performance across the facility. Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility. Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment. Documents test procedures and results. Solves routine technical problems. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
