  • 31.00/hour + 20% Weekend Shift Differential What You'll Do
  • Perform mechanical dimensional inspections on machined parts and components to verify conformance to engineering specifications.
  • Inspect parts produced through CNC machining and other machine shop processes.
  • Use precision inspection equipment, including digital height gages such as Microhite and Tesa-Hite.
  • Perform inspections using digital comparators.
  • Utilize Keyence Measurement Systems to perform accurate dimensional measurements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for machined parts, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
  • Apply a basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) during inspections.
  • Document inspection results and identify parts that do not meet required tolerances.
  • Work closely with CNC machinists, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to address dimensional or quality concerns.
  • Operate a CMM when applicable; previous CMM experience is helpful but not required. What We're Looking For
  • Previous machine shop experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical or dimensional inspection of machined parts is highly preferred.
  • Previous CNC Machine Operator or CNC Machinist experience is highly relevant, even if you have not previously held the title of Inspector.
  • Must have experience reading blueprints for machined components.
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T is required.
  • Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment, including digital height gages, digital comparators, Keyence Measurement Systems, and other dimensional inspection tools.
  • CMM operation experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Candidates coming primarily from assembly or visual inspection environments without mechanical dimensional or machine shop experience may not be the best fit for this position.

Pay Details:
