The Engineering Assistant at BAE Systems, Inc is responsible for providing technical support for engineering personnel in a research or design/development environment. The role involves planning and conducting projects of limited scope or portions of larger projects, selecting and adapting plans, techniques, designs, and layouts, and constructing, modifying, and assisting in the design and development of complex electronic circuits. The position requires troubleshooting and testing highly complex assemblies and systems, utilizing electro-mechanical, electronic, and inspection instruments, and implementing design data to comply with engineering objectives. The role also involves directing and coordinating the work of less senior technicians as required and performing other duties as needed. This is a first shift position working a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday (starting hours can be flexible) Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma
