NPI Engineering Technician Location:
Nashua, NH Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a NPI Engineering Technician to join our Hi Speed Cable team. The position will be located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, program, maintain various equipment used to support early proto requirements for hi speed cables in Nashua NPI cable line Operate equipment to support cable build requirements as required Work with Engineering team to provide technician support to build, measure, evaluate results for sample efforts that are in support of research/evaluation projects as required Assist in organization and maintaining NPI Cable assembly production area Assist in development and refinement of work instructions used to define cable assembly process Assist in defining equipment to establish NPI capability in Nashua to support early sample builds for cable products Assist in design, procurement, and debug of fixtures and tooling Establish and document manufacturing process details
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of growth/experience in performing senior level operator tasks and/or technician duties Experience in manufacturing environment building electronic assemblies Experience with PCB, PCBA and soldering preferred
