This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, structured processes, and ensuring devices meet strict performance and quality standards before they reach customers. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on laptops and tablets Complete inbound quality control (IQC) inspections on incoming devices Conduct outbound quality control (OQC) to verify repairs meet company standards Install, configure, and test Windows OS, drivers, and essential software Utilize Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for documentation and workflow tracking Identify hardware failures at the component or system level Maintain accurate repair notes, test results, and device status updates Follow established repair procedures and contribute to continuous improvement Keep a clean, organized, and safe bench environment Minimum Qualifications Experience repairing or diagnosing PCs, laptops, or tablets Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware components, and common failure points Familiarity with Microsoft Office / 365 and Google Suite Ability to follow structured testing and QC processes Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a bench repair or electronics refurbishment environment Knowledge of imaging tools, BIOS configuration, and component‑level testing Experience with mobile device or Chromebook repair (a plus)
