Electromechanical Field Technician

PARK PLUS

is looking for an experienced Electromechanical Field Automation Technician with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, repairing of electrical equipment and devices, support and training. We are currently looking to add to our team in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry Diagnose cause of electrical or machine malfunctions Collaborate with electrical engineers to solve developmental problems Perform routine preventative maintenance Ensure all electrical components adhere to standards Provide support for breakdowns Able to read and understand PLC code (Ladder, FBD, STL, SCL) Plan, evaluate, organize and implement automation related projects Setup of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) and Servo Drives Assist with on-site start-up and troubleshooting, as needed Review electrical drawings

Develop Electrical Bill of Material Requirements:

4 or more years of experience in the automation industry. 4 or more years of experience in field service. 4 or more years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance. 1 or more years of experience in using a dispatch/ticketing system for service.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields required Familiarity with electrical schematics Excellent root cause analysis skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Deadline and detail - oriented Computer skills required PLC skills required (Siemens, Beckhoff) Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent work record, including safety, quality and attendance Positive attitude Ability to travel up to 20% (mainly within the USA, some international travel is a possibility).

Job Type:

Full-time, Monday-Friday. Rotating On Call shifts. Some weekends as needed.

Hourly Rate:

$35-$45 based on experience.
