Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Lab Instrument Technician for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering within the School of Engineering. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Operates and assists with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and other manual machinery to produce precision parts. Communicates with team members to effectively understand the needs of the finished product and provide an effective design. Conducts diagnosis and repair of laboratory equipment, as well as routine maintenance of small equipment and vacuum pumps. FLSA Nonexempt Salary Details $39,000 - $45,000 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
