About the
Role:
As a CBRE Laboratory Instrument & ElectricTechnician, you will calibrate, maintain, and complete the minor repairs ofscientific instrumentation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services incritical client environments.
What You'll Do:
Takeapart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of equipment,systems, and controls. Operatetest equipment. This includes multimeters and probes. Coordinatethe removal of equipment needing basic repairs during scheduled maintenanceperiods. Recordand report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions ofequipment. Responsiblefor locating part sources and estimating costs. Documentdaily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other workperformed. Coordinatewith external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements. Assistwith the development of equipment, maintenance, and calibrationprocedures. Useexisting procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercisingdiscretion. Impactthrough clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described indetail. Deliverown output by following defined procedures and processes under closesupervision. Understandthe general concepts of ISO 9001 and GMP production. Maintenanceand repair of electrical systems; transmitters, motors, breakers, drives, etc. Installation,Repair, and Calibration of a variety of Instrumentation (Pressure, Temperature,Flow, and Level) used in Process Manufacturing and Laboratory Areas. Installation,Repair, and Calibration of Control Valves, Actuators, and positioners. Maintenance,Repair, and Calibration of Electronic Scales and Process Feeder Systems. Troubleshootand test control loops including tuning and calibration of controllers. Configurationand repair maintenance on DCS and PLC systems. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. What You'll Need:
HighSchool Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with at least 4 years ofjob-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered. Must have an appropriate license or certificationwhere required by law. Required-Knowledge of cGMP, applicable global regulatory manufacturing guidance, and theprocess/cleaning validation in drug substance pharmaceuticalmanufacturing. Required-Laboratory and/or manufacturing experience and experience in GLP or GMP isrequired. Strong knowledge of USDA and EU regulatory systems. GDPand Cleanroom experience preferred. Experienceusing CMMS system. Meetthe physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more. Abilityto follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communicationskills to exchange straightforward information. Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. Strongorganizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Basicmath skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages,discounts, and markups. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Calibration- Laboratory Instrument Services Technician position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Calibration- Laboratory Instrument Services Technician position is $105,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
