Job Location:
Princeton, NJ Summary:
As an Electronic Systems Technician you will be responsible for the i nstallation and/or servicing of residential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts . Responsibilities include knowledge of b asic wiring and panel programming, system set-up , basic troubleshooting, and explanation of system to customer with ability to answer questions
What You'll Do:
Install/service residential systems and/or small to mid-sized commercial accounts: Accurately c omplete installations and/or servicing with frequent to minimal supervision. Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types. Utilize skills in basic wiring, panel programming, and system set-up. Check for, and correct, any errors in work and paperwork. Display professionalism when interacting with and communicating with peers, manager, and customers.
Train and mentor technicians:
Review work of Entry Level technicians on shared job site and provide training to correct any errors. Accurately c omplete installations and/or servicing with frequent to minimal supervision. Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types. Utilize skills in basic wiring, panel programming, and system set-up. Check for, and correct, any errors in work and paperwork. Display professionalism when interacting with and communicating with peers, manager, and customers. What You'll Need:
HS diploma or equivalent
  • required. 1
  • 3 years of industry experience
  • preferred. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving history. Certified Alarm Technician level 1 or equivalent
  • preferred .
Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path.
Communication:
Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.

Must be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction.
