Opportunity for advancement Training & development We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fiber Splicer Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fusion splicing of fiber optic cables. Install and test fiber optic networks using

VFL, OPM

Troubleshoot, test, and repair fiber optic cables and components. Ensure fiber installations comply with industry standards and customer specifications. Work in various environments ( indoor, outdoor, and sometimes confined spaces). Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing and testing preferred. Proficient with fiber tools and test equipment (e.g., fusion splicer, VFL, OPM). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must have own vehicle.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of color codes used in fiber splicing. Familiarity with GIS systems

Working Conditions:

Fieldwork required; must be comfortable working in various weather conditions. May involve on-call rotations, weekends, or extended hours based on project needs.
