Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Technician for a local Optics company. Overview The Technician supports the manufacturing, inspection, and processing of high‑precision optical components. Technicians run production orders, collaborate with engineering, support process development, and contribute to continuous improvement. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, teamwork, and the ability to work independently when needed. Responsibilities Perform high‑precision optical metrology, including interferometry and optical part characterization Clean, handle, assemble, and package optical and opto‑electronic components Clean, handle, assemble, and package optical and opto‑electronic components Read, understand, and follow written manufacturing procedures Participate in continuous improvement and process‑development activities Operate and maintain grinding, lapping, polishing, and CNC fabrication equipment (if applicable) Prepare parts for shipment (if applicable) Calculate coating parameters based on historical data (if applicable) Troubleshoot vacuum systems (if applicable) and more......
