Full-Time Los Alamos, NM 87545, USA Job Details Description Job Details Description MELE Associates is seeking a TSCM Assistant to join our team in Los Alamos, NM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Successfully receives formal training and on-the-job (OTJ) and becomes competent in the provision of TSSC services (either TSCM or TEMPEST) to protect NNSA facilities and assets. Developing the competency to effectively communicate TSSC requirements/issues to large or small groups of non-technical personnel. Assist in the operation and maintenance of sensitive measurement and survey equipment. All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of experience in physical security or law enforcement, information systems, network, or cyber security, electronics repair and maintenance, or electrical, RF or wireless engineering. Must meet the physical, vison and hearing requirements for TSCM technicians
IAW NNSA SD 470.6.
Undergraduate degree in an information technology, electronics, electronics, telecommunications, computer technology, security or a related discipline is desirable Must demonstrate the required aptitudes needed to pass the ITC Fundamentals Course, and be recommended by a certified TSCM technician/practitioner Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.
LOCATION
This is a full-time onsite position in Los Alamos, NM.
