Job Description

ATTRACTIONS TECHNICIAN MANAGER
(Arcade, Bowling Facilities, Dining, Billiards, Esports) We are looking for a full-time experienced hands-on maintenance technician responsible for the maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting spare-parts inventory and facility standards to keep all games, attractions, facility equipment, IT systems and technical operations and all equipment assigned to keep them running at peak performance. This role will report to the General Manager.
ABOUT VELOCITY VEGAS
Located in Town Square, Velocity Vegas is an arcade, bowling, billiards and dining facility with a focus of bringing guests a next-level entertainment experience. We offer a premier esports lounge, arcade games, bowling, billiards, full-service restaurant & bar, along with live tournaments and other in-person entertainment features. REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 2 years' experience with arcade game repairs, bowling machine repair, electronics and mechanical repairs. General skill in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and amusement systems. General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices. Must provide excellent Guest Service. Must have excellent time management and follow-up skills necessary to perform in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Must have accountability and strive to the be the best to keep the games and bowling up and running. Must have skill in the practical application of electronics, mechanics and hydraulics; in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment of the trade Must have the ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment; to work on fixed equipment Must be able to Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; maneuver games and parts up to 500 lbs; Ability to manipulate heavy equipment, tools and supplies and/or exert force up to 250 pounds; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls on machinery and equipment; read and write handwritten documentation
AROUND THE FACILITY ARCADE
Maintain and repair games, attractions, facility equipment, IT systems, spare parts inventory, and debit card reader systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular preventative maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold cleanliness standards to enhance guest experience and minimize downtime.
BOWLING LOUNGE
: Maintain and repair bowling lanes, pinsetters, ball returns, and related equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance the customer experience.
FACILITY
Maintain the facility by assisting in repairs where possible and inspecting the compliance of preventative maintenance vendors and contracts in the individual location. Disassemble, replace and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures and wiring. Operate hand and power tools and general testing equipment. Coordinate the installation, setup and/or decommissioning of arcade games, attraction and related equipment. Ensure proper wiring, calibration, and software configuration while adhering to safety and operational guidelines Demonstrate a "safety" mindset by addressing any potential hazard appropriately and timely and always following safety protocols in the repair of games/equipment Direct staff within the
Technical Department:
Develop and mentor Game Technicians through goal-setting and coaching. Oversee all personnel actions, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Foster teamwork by actively collaborating with staff and participating in facility management meetings to communicate key updates on games and attractions to management. Oversee all business and technical aspects of the Technical Department including: Generating all reports for games and attractions including revenue, preventative maintenance and down game reports. Track and manage game payouts to company expectations. Updating inventory records Ordering supplies and materials, checking in deliveries and working with the General Manager to ensure all invoices are received for processing Managing profit & loss responsibilities for technical repair, maintenance cost centers, and tech labor budgets. Oversee expenditures, optimize cost efficiency, and ensure alignment with financial goals. Other Venue Operational and or maintenance tasks as assigned

High School Diploma
