Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacements, refrigerant checks, and system calibrations to maintain climate control standards. Maintain facilities equipment such as plumbing systems, electrical panels, building interior fixtures, and mechanical components. Utilize technical schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Carry out maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, and building interior upkeep to uphold facility aesthetics. Lead safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety protocols during maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical equipment repair, and maintenance painting techniques. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; experience with electrical equipment repair is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC system troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading technical schematics and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with team members and provide customer service when needed. Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior staff or lead small maintenance projects. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces.
