Job Overview Komatsu is recruiting a Field Technician to work at our Sparks, NV location.

Ensure rework hours remain under 3% of billed hours. Adhere to standard repair times and achieve balanced scorecard goals. Prioritize safety and comply with all regulations. Manage documentation and implement contamination control measures. Provide accurate quotes and excellent customer service. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, testing all repairs thoroughly. Thoroughly test and validate the functionality of all repairs made and adjustments performed. Apply general failure analysis procedures for effective troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred. Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules, including shift work

Skills:

Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in basic arithmetic and computer skills. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues. Mechanical knowledge. Additional Information Certification to operate a forklift and/or manlift required. MSHA certification and respirator certification may be necessary. Possession of a basic mechanics toolset required. Valid Driver's License Hiring Range At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
