We are growing—and we're looking for motivated Engineering Technicians to support testing, troubleshooting, and light design work on cutting‑edge electronic products. This is a long‑term, career‑building opportunity with strong visibility to engineering leadership, extensive cross‑training, and a clear path to expanded responsibilities over time. Ideal for experienced technicians OR recent electrical engineering graduates eager to get hands‑on experience. What You'll Do Perform testing and component‑level troubleshooting on complex aerospace and high‑reliability electronic assemblies Diagnose test equipment or fixture issues and help implement corrective actions Set up, adjust, and operate both manual and automated electrical test equipment Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to clarify designs and support continuous improvement initiatives Document and communicate technical findings to Test, Design, and Engineering leaders Determine test methods and sequences for new assignments; offer technical guidance to peers as you grow Cross‑train into additional technical functions such as test automation, hardware validation, or fixture design Coordinate daily tasks with your supervisor to help meet production schedules Must‑Have Qualifications (Experienced candidates AND early‑career candidates who gained these skills through internships or academic projects are encouraged to apply.) Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level Strong diagnostic ability using oscilloscopes, meters, and standard bench instrumentation Ability to read and interpret schematics Familiarity with electrical/electronics testing processes and best practices Hands‑on experience from internships, labs, senior design projects, co‑ops, or previous technician roles Nice‑to‑Have Skills Exposure to automated test systems or scripting Hardware test or validation experience Ability to create or follow structured test plans Basic CAD skills for simple drawings or test fixtures Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bohemia, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
