Basic Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent. Certification from a trade school in Electrical, Computer Operations, or Automation, or a degree in a maintenance-related field. Alternatively, relevant military experience or at least two years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with PLCs, VFDs, and other automated systems. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience of 2 to 5 years of recent and consistent experience in maintaining advanced electrical systems and/or automation systems. Experience working with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial automation equipment is highly beneficial. Familiarity with computer architecture and its integration into electrical systems is highly desirable. Have a working knowledge of troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, robots, AC motor drives, servodrives , vision system, sensors, industrial printer systems and electronic components. Knowledge of PLC ladder logic, Scada system and historian software. Ability to perform Automation Network troubleshooting with TC/IP and Profibus. Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics and produce as-built drawing for work performed. Ability to perform electrical routine service, setup, adjustment and repairs of manufacturing mixers, high-speed packaging lines and palletizer system . Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete job safety analysis with an emphasis on identifying electrical hazards and proper safety procedures, handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC. Technical understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to be able to review and maintain facility related GMP documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The salary range for this position is from $50,391 to $69,287.90 plus a 10% shift differential and a 5% performance bonus.
