Job Description SummaryThe Industrial Electrical Technical is pivotal in GE Gas Power's manufacturing process and will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment.
Job DescriptionJob Description Essential Responsibilities As the Industrial Electrical Technician, you will:
Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools, PLC ladder, VFD motors, and roboticsDiagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order partsInstall, modify, troubleshoot, test and repair electrical and electronic control systems up to 600VMaintain and modify machine tools, process equipment and facilitiesApply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related electronics including AC and DC motors, motors controls, electronic drives, PLC, instrumentation and sensors.
The hourly base pay range for this position is $37.47/hr to $45.68/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics OR High School Diploma/GED with Military Advanced Electronics Training CourseELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekendsAbility and willingness to work either 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Monday - Friday.Desired Characteristics:
Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance roleFamiliarity with electrical motors and control circuitsStrong electrical fundamental and safety knowledge (electrical schematics, NFPA 79, LOTO)Prior experience with operating systems, software and ladder logic (Fanuc, Siemens) used in PLC systems to diagnose and repair circuits to restore operation.The hourly base pay range for this position is $37.47/hr to $45.68/hr.
