Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Development Technician to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, testing, and refining electronic systems, components, and electro-optical systems. Your hands-on expertise will support the development of cutting-edge products by assembling prototypes, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring manufacturing quality standards are met. Duties Assemble electronic prototypes and circuit boards using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components with precision soldering techniques. Conduct thorough debugging and root cause analysis on electrical systems and assemblies to identify faults or design flaws. Interpret and develop schematics, PCB layouts, and technical drawings in CAD software. Perform electrical wiring and testing electronic equipment utilizing multimeters, hand tools, oscilloscopes, spectrometers, and specialized testing devices. Collaborate with an engineering team to develop electrical system and designs aligned with project specifications. Support project scheduling efforts by tracking progress on assembly, testing phases, and next generation developments to meet milestones efficiently. Experience Proven experience in electrical development or electronics manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics. Hands-on proficiency with soldering techniques, surface mount technology (SMT), and assembly of complex electronic circuits. Familiarity with PCB design, layout review, and troubleshooting using CAD tools. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code), and mechanical knowledge relevant to electronics enclosures. Experience performing root cause analysis, debugging electrical issues, and conducting maintenance on electronic equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and schematics documentation accurately while adhering to safety standards. Pay:
$26.00 - $36.00 per hour
