Field Service & Calibration Technician Salary:

$70,000-$85,000 per year

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with travel required

40-80% nationwide, approximately 2-4 days per week Hiring Immediately About the Position Bring your calibration and troubleshooting skills to a hands-on role servicing industrial corrosion testing chambers at customer facilities across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Field Service & Calibration Technician who enjoys solving equipment problems, working independently, and helping customers keep their equipment operating accurately and reliably. This position combines nationwide field service with equipment startups, customer training, and remote technical support. Responsibilities Travel to customer facilities to perform calibrations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC/HMI, relay, and control system issues. Calibrate instruments using certified reference standards and maintain accurate records. Follow

calibration procedures and quality requirements. Complete equipment startups and train customers on equipment operation. Provide remote technical support and communicate service updates to customers. Prepare detailed service reports and coordinate travel arrangements. Work with engineering staff to resolve complex equipment issues. Qualifications At least three years of calibration technician experience . Experience with

A2LA / ISO 17025

calibration procedures . Strong background in industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience using measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Valid U.S. passport. Willingness to travel nationwide 40-80% of the time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field. Familiarity with ASTM specifications. Benefits Access to a company vehicle.
