Job Description

Job Summary:
The ADAS Technician plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and safety of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems by delivering high‑quality calibrations directly at customer locations. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with customer‑facing professionalism, requiring someone who is detail-driven, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment. The technician serves as a trusted representative of the company, ensuring every calibration meets manufacturer standards while providing an exceptional service experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Duties/Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence in ADAS Calibration Own the end‑to‑end calibration process, ensuring every vehicle is set up, measured, and calibrated according to precise manufacturer and environmental requirements. Utilize company‑provided tools, technology, and mobile equipment to perform accurate, high‑quality calibrations. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to support compliance, quality control, and service records. Uphold rigorous standards for equipment readiness through regular inspection and proper maintenance of the mobile ADAS van. Customer Experience & Professional Communication Serve as the on‑site expert, clearly explaining calibration steps, expectations, and results in a professional and customer‑friendly manner. Foster strong partnership with manager and the broader team through proactive communication on scheduling, job completion, equipment needs, and any issues encountered. Represent the company with confidence, professionalism, and a commitment to service excellence in every customer interaction. Safety, Quality, and Compliance Champion a safe working environment by consistently adhering to company procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices. Maintain an organized, clean, and well‑managed mobile workspace to support efficiency and safety. Ensure all work aligns with OEM specifications, industry standards, and company expectations for accuracy and performance.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to safely operate a mobile service vehicle, supported by a clean driving record and strong situational awareness. Solid foundational knowledge of automotive systems, including experience using diagnostic and scan tools in a service or repair environment. Familiarity with ADAS technology, components, and calibration principles, with the ability to apply technical instructions with precision. A self‑directed, highly accountable work style-comfortable working independently while maintaining strong productivity and service standards. Clear, confident communication skills, enabling effective interaction with customers, supervisors, and team members. A strong commitment to accuracy, quality workmanship, and consistent adherence to established procedures. Exceptional attention to detail, especially when following technical specifications or documentation requirements. Preferred Two or more years of experience as an Automotive Technician-or equivalent mechanical or diagnostic background-providing a strong foundation for advanced calibration work. Physical Requirements and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, position targets and equipment, and safely load/unload calibration tools. Must demonstrate fine and gross motor skills required for vehicle operation, equipment setup, and calibration procedures.
Travel:
Regular travel within the region, occasional travel within territory. Half of the time spent traveling by car. May need to work extended hours based on business needs, with some occasional air travel required.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in mobile repair environments, partner automotive facilities, and occasionally at fixed-site calibration centers. Exposure to automotive shop conditions, including noise, chemicals, varying temperatures, and vehicle movement.
