Our work includes gates, access control systems, CCTV, and general facility systems. Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Gate & Access Control Technician to join our team. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and installing automated gate systems, keypads, and access control hardware across multiple sites. Experience with CCTV systems and cameras is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automatic gate systems (sliding, swing, operators, motors) Install and service access control systems (keypads, card readers, intercoms) Perform wiring, low-voltage electrical work, and system integration Troubleshoot and maintain CCTV and camera systems Respond to service calls and complete preventative maintenance Document work completed and communicate clearly with customers and team Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Qualifications 2+ years experience in gate systems, access control, or low-voltage work Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with brands like Autogate, PTI, or similar is a plus Basic understanding of networking/IP systems (for cameras and access control) Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license and clean driving record What We're Looking For Problem-solver who can diagnose issues without hand-holding Professional with customers (you'll represent the company on-site) Someone who takes pride in quality work—not quick fixes Willingness to learn and grow into a senior technician role Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance) Tools and equipment provided Paid time off Opportunities for advancement as we grow Why Join Us Work with national clients and growing demand Clear path to lead tech or management roles Stable, year-round work (not seasonal) Small team, high accountability, strong culture
