Glenview Golf Course , located in Cincinnati, OH , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Lead Mechanic ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Maintains a preventive maintenance program on all equipment, purchases repair parts and replacement supplies. Places orders for parts and supplies as needed for equipment or service. Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment. Performs mower grinding and sharpening, general overhaul of motors and reels, and installs and adjusts braking systems. Performs machining or welding work in making fittings used in the repair of maintenance equipment. Manages expenses in the maintenance of the equipment fleet relating to parts purchases, inventory levels, service work, fuel inventories, and related items. Ensures accurate records are kept of preventive maintenance, repairs made, and parts ordered. Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of light and heavy construction and maintenance equipment and automotive apparatus. Maintains skills in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools and in the making of various types of mechanical repairs. Diagnoses mechanical troubles and schedules appropriate preventive maintenance work. Organizes and maintains a clean and safe maintenance area. Healthcare Benefits
