Automation Technician

2nd: 3:30pm-11:30pm 3rd: 11:30pm- 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

Preventative Maintenance:

Complete preventative maintenance for automation equipment to company requirements. Maintain and update preventative maintenance documentation. Identify and correct potential items of failure. Verify equipment functionality and safety devices. Assist with maintaining predictive part inventory and organization.

Production Support:

Provide technical support for automation equipment in production areas. Support tooling changes for automation equipment. Troubleshoot and correct equipment failure.

Department Support:

Complete department projects when assigned. Support overtime when needed. Assist others when needed.

Qualifications:

Skills:

Ability to read electrical and pneumatic prints. Write / modify robot programs. Motoman, Yushin, Star, Epson. Ability to write / modify camera programs. Keyence, Cognex Ability to work independently. Strong troubleshooting capabilities. Effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Mechanical experience. Experience with automation equipment and robot programming. Knowledge of electrical circuits.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Occasional weekend or off-shift support may be required.
