PLC Technician | 2nd shift | Leetonia Job Description We are seeking an Industrial PLC Technician for the 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM) to join our dynamic team in Leetonia, OH. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced industrial equipment through PLC automation, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Follow the preventative maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns and prioritize repairs with guidance from Plant Management. Perform preventive maintenance on extrusion presses, furnaces, saws, and other fabrication and auxiliary equipment. Inspect and maintain air compressors, cooling water systems, and extrusion press operations daily. Assist with equipment installations and modifications to improve safety and efficiency. Complete work orders and documentation in CMMS. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Essential Skills 5+ years of industrial PLC maintenance and repair. 3+ years of electrical maintenance skills. Proficiency in machine repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 480v electrical skills. PLC troubleshooting and programming. Basic understanding of Fanuc robotics. Mechanical machine operation and fabrication. Ability to troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, and photo-eyes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in welding, extrusion, presses, and industrial maintenance. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, schematics, motor, VFD, and installation of 3 phase electrical systems. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetonia, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
