Job Description

Aerospace Testing Technician-1st Shift We are seeking a mechanically inclined Testing Technician to perform pressure, air and flow testing on aerospace components in a quality-control lab environment. This is a repetitive, process-driven position with different products tested using similar procedures. Willing to train! Previous aerospace experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with component repair, mechanical assembly or hands-on equipment experience are encouraged to apply. Experience from companies such as Eaton Aerospace may transfer well.
Responsibilities:
Perform pressure, compressed-air and flow testing on aerospace components Connect components to testing equipment and follow established procedures Read and monitor pressure gauges Set regulators and make basic equipment adjustments Use hand tools, including wrenches, to install and remove test components Document test results and identify products that do not meet specifications Follow all quality and safety procedures Complete repetitive testing accurately and consistently
Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools Comfortable turning wrenches, reading gauges and setting regulators Comfortable working with compressed air, pressurized systems and testing equipment Able to follow detailed instructions and repeat the same testing process throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable working primarily while seated, with standing required during testing Aerospace, component repair, mechanical assembly or quality-control experience is a plus but not required This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and wants to gain aerospace testing experience. #INDJen
