Description Engineering Automotive Technician, focused on supporting Crash Test Simulation. Reliability Lab Technician Job Description This position will have direct, daily interface with our Engineering Staff (Design and Test). Testing Technicians work in collaborative atmosphere with our engineering group, often creating testing improvements and engineering countermeasures. is individual plays a supporting role, performing daily assigned tasks, researching new tools or processes and proposes improvements to leadership while carrying out the mission to provide safe, accurate and efficient test services in a culture that people want to be a part of. Can perform diverse and complex technical assignments. Performs set-up, testing, fabrication and supporting calculations and may conduct moderate analysis. Compiles and organizes technical data. May prepare reports and make recommendations. Maintains and is able to troubleshoot test equipment in respective area. May identify and resolve routine and moderately complex problems. Plans activities within specific guidelines to meet deadlines. Normally receives little or no instruction on routine activities and receives general instruction on new assignments. Must have 8+ years closely related experience or related associates degree and 6+ years experience.
