Job Summary We are seeking an Electronic Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and equipment used in foundation testing devices as well as calibration and customer support. Your expertise will ensure our products operate at peak performance, supporting the company's mission to deliver reliable and innovative testing solutions globally. Duties
- Repair and calibration of customer electronic equipment
- Repair and calibration of sensors
- Final testing of electronic equipment prior to delivery to customers
- Customer support when equipment has failed via phone, email, Team-Viewer, Skype, etc.
- Service support
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions or procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Skills
- 2+ years of electronic equipment repair experience preferred
- Soldering experience is a plus
- Two year Associate Degree in Electronics is preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting, electronics, electrical, mechanical, and schematic testing
- Experience with electronic testing equipment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute in a timely manner is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team. Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. Requires extended periods of standing, walking and sitting.
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Light work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (
Constantly:
activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Level of Supervision- This position reports directly to the Service Manager.
