Springfield, OH Job Details Part-time 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Fanuc Manufacturing facility experience Assembly line experience Sensors Full Job Description Part-Time Industrial Automation Specialist Springfield, OH | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule We are a metal stamping manufacturer in Springfield, Ohio, producing components for the heavy truck industry. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to provide part-time support for our automated production equipment. This position could be an excellent fit for a retired or semi-retired engineer, automation technician, controls specialist, or experienced maintenance professional who would like to stay active and use their experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and support automated robotic welding and assembly cells. Help maximize equipment uptime, performance, and safety. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, and controls-related problems. Work with maintenance, production, and quality personnel to resolve equipment issues. Support FANUC and Yaskawa industrial robots. Troubleshoot sensors, actuators, HMIs, and other control-system components. Assist with equipment repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance. Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements. Communicate work performed and issues identified to management and team members. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience with industrial automation and robotics . Experience with FANUC and/or Yaskawa robots , preferably in welding or assembly applications. Knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial controls . Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Manufacturing experience preferred. The Opportunity This is a part-time, flexible position and may be ideal for someone who is retired or semi-retired but still enjoys solving technical problems and working with manufacturing equipment. Hours and schedule can be flexible based on your availability and our needs.
Pay:
