Automation Technician Shift:
2nd and 3rd shift open (1 on each shift)

Depends on experience (Open to entry level technicians) Job Description The Automation Technician serves as a multi-craft technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of automated production and facility equipment. This role combines electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure reliable operation of industrial machinery, controls, and support systems in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable operation. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on automated machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and support repairs. Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components on production machines, including metal fabricating and stamping machines, material handling systems, automated assembly machines, degreasing equipment, anodize lines, and conveyor systems. Repair or replace damaged air, chemical, water, and hydraulic pipes on machines, including measuring, cutting, threading, and installing new pipe as needed. Rebuild and install equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial controls and control panels to support automated processes. Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. Work safely and consistently while using full personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to support continuous improvement and efficient production operations. Essential Skills Proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment (required). Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including both electrical and mechanical systems. Mechanical maintenance skills, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints. Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Comfort working with degreasing and anodize machines and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ability to safely repair and replace air, chemical, water, and hydraulic piping systems. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Westerville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
