Opportunity Summary A leading power generation facility in Southern Ohio is seeking an experienced O&M / Electrical Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a natural gas-fired generating station. This hands-on position is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining combustion turbines and associated plant systems while helping maximize equipment reliability, plant availability, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a strong operations and maintenance background in power generation, industrial manufacturing, utilities, or other heavy industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and support startup, shutdown, and routine plant operations. Monitor plant performance through control systems, instrumentation, gauges, and field inspections. Perform routine equipment rounds to identify abnormal conditions, leaks, vibration, or performance issues. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities during online operation and outage periods. Maintain accurate operating logs, equipment records, and maintenance documentation. Assist with calibration, testing, and repair of PLCs, DCS controls, instrumentation, and related electrical systems. Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work performed and initiate maintenance requests. Adhere to all safety programs, environmental regulations, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence. Provide technical support and training as needed to other team members. This is a direct-hire, full-time position, hiring immediately. This is a swing shift position, doing rotating 12-hour shifts to provide 24/7 operational coverage. This schedule requires weekends, holiday, overtime, and occasional on-call availability. Pay is commensurate with experience, $45 to $50 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to all full-time staff. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license. Experience in power generation, utilities, manufacturing, chemical processing, or a similar industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including LOTO procedures. Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills. Preferred Associate degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field. Military technical training or relevant industry certifications. Experience with combustion turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant systems.

Working from elevated platforms. Exposure to varying weather conditions. Exposure to noise, heat, confined spaces, and industrial equipment. Routine lifting of up to 50 pounds. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including FR clothing, hearing protection, respirators, fall protection, and other required safety equipment.
