Obtain Contact Information Job Summary Control Staff Technician 1-2 This position serves to work and collaborate with other CSNW (a subsidiary of RH2) team members in the planning, designing, software development, and commissioning of control systems for water and wastewater facility projects and industrial manufacturing. A person in this position thrives in a collaborative team environment that requires critical thinking to solve complex problems and providing exceptional client service while managing a diverse workload and creating technically accurate deliverables.
With your skills you will:
Develop software for programmable logic controllers (PLC's), touch screen operator interface devices (OI's), and Human Machine Interface (HMI) computer systems. Provide on-site start-up and commissioning, as well as ongoing support of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control systems. Develop Operations and Maintenance (O& M) documentation and conduct O& M training sessions. Conduct inspections of control system installations. Perform control system and field instrumentation testing, troubleshooting, and startup. Perform regular maintenance and assist with repairs to existing client systems. What you'll bring: Associates degree or technical certificate in electrical or mechanical engineering technology, industrial automation, or equivalent combination of education and experience/training. 0-2 years related controls technician experience, consulting environment preferred. 0-2 years in SCADA/control system experience including: PLC/ operator interface software development experience (

application software development experience (
Preferred:
Wonderware/AVEVA, FactoryTalk View, Ignition) Understanding of computer networks, including internet/ intranet LAN/WAN networking skills Landline/ wireless communications experience a plus Municipal water/ wastewater experience, preferred Experience with handheld digital meters Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teams in multiple offices
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of or willing to learn: Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D preferred PLC/ operator interface software development

Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily performed in an office/business setting with some travel to construction or client site weekly. To successfully perform this job, an individual should have the ability, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to: Sit or stand at a desk for several hours to perform work in an office setting. Individual base compensation will vary within the following range based on skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position. CSNW values our employees' work/life balance and compensates for overtime at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week.
