Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an Engineering Aide to provide technical support to engineers across a variety of engineering and production support activities. The selected candidate will assist with technical data, engineering documentation, testing, data acquisition, and tester development and builds. This role will involve working with engineering drawings, electrical schematics, test equipment, and technical documentation while supporting engineering evaluations and production activities. Duties Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering and production support tasks. Support troubleshooting and maintenance of test fixtures and related equipment as needed. Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory and material test results and engineering design changes. Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and drawings, including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics. Support the development, assembly, and build of testers and test fixtures. Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas and guidelines. Conduct preliminary analysis of technical data and support engineering evaluations. Use computer systems and applicable software to perform analyses and develop technical documentation and reports. Conduct tests and record results to support engineering evaluation and analysis. Experience Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Avionics, or a related discipline. 6+ months of military training and/or combined experience in the electronics field. Combined education and relevant experience are preferred. 1-2 years of experience reading engineering drawings. 1-2 years of data acquisition experience. 1-2 years of electronic testing experience. 1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics. Desired Qualifications Experience with test fixture maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Strong technical problem-solving skills.
