Job Description

Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a position for an Electronics Test Technician to support their high-technology defense projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced aerospace systems that contribute to national security and defense missions.

Canonsburg, PA (On-site; no hybrid or remote options)
Position:
Electronics Test Technician Contract Length:
12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay:
$26.79 per hour
Schedule:
First Shift Clearance Requirement:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent including vocational training, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience In this role, you will use your technical and troubleshooting skills to: Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics assemblies Analyze circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to isolate faults Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters for diagnostics and testing Conduct functional and environmental testing to validate repairs and system performance Identify failed or out-of-spec electronic components and recommend corrective actions Document failure analysis, root causes, and repair actions within maintenance or quality systems Support engineering, production, and quality teams with technical troubleshooting and test support Assist with development of troubleshooting procedures, test plans, and repair documentation
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent including vocational training Minimum of 1 year of relevant electronics troubleshooting or testing experience Strong understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics Experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Experience using electronic diagnostic and test equipment Ability to diagnose and repair electronic assemblies at the component level U.S. Citizenship required Active DoD Secret Clearance required at time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Electronics or related discipline Experience with solder repair and component-level rework FCC license or solder certification is a plus Experience supporting defense or aerospace programs Strong communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills
