Job Description Supports engineering and manufacturing operations by performing testing, equipment assembly/repair, data analysis, and CAM/CNC production support for complex defense-related components and systems. Responsibilities Performs standardized technical assignments involving a sequence of related operations and follows established work methods and procedures. Receives detailed instructions for unfamiliar assignments while routine work is reviewed upon completion for technical accuracy. Assembles, constructs, services, and repairs simple or standard equipment, instruments, and components following specific instructions. Conducts a variety of tests using established methods, prepares test specimens, adjusts and operates equipment, and records test data. Identifies and reports deviations caused by equipment malfunctions or observational errors during testing processes. Extracts engineering data from prescribed but non-standardized sources and processes the data using basic algebra and geometry. Presents processed engineering data in required formats following defined methods and procedures. Serves as a specialist in Computer Aided Manufacturing/Computer Numerically Controlled (CAM/CNC) methods and processes. Supports the production of complex missile components, combat vehicles, assemblies, and other defense-related items. Evaluates engineering designs and collaborates with engineers to discuss performance requirements and recommend design modifications. Recommends alternative designs to improve CAM/CNC equipment utilization for prototyping and life-cycle production efficiency. Applies practical knowledge of mechanical engineering, machining, mathematics, and sheet metal fabrication techniques. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1-3 years of experience. Job
