Immediately seeking for an RF Test Technician located in Audubon, PA! •
WEEKLY PAY
•RF Electronics Technician:
Test products to CE standards EN61000-6-3, CISPR-22, and other applicable RF and ESD related standards. Perform testing of RF emissions and susceptibility for all new products and prepare clear, comprehensive final test reports for each product. Set up test configurations, perform test measurements, verify and calibrate instruments, and collect data for operational and EMI/EMC testing from module level to complete systems. Operate standard and specialized RF measurement equipment in accordance with National, International, and Military procedures and standards for data collection. Layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems. Support engineering, production, and quality control teams with electronic testing, analysis, and issue resolution. Test sample LEDs, reflectors, batteries, and related components to verify performance and compliance. Support engineering with ANSI testing of existing and new products, ensuring accurate setup, execution, and documentation. Design and set up standard test apparatus and develop special-purpose test equipment and circuitry as needed. Conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype and production models. Perform calculations using Ohm's law and power formulas to analyze circuits and test results. Recommend changes in circuitry or specifications to improve reliability, functionality, ease of assembly, and cost-effectiveness. Build circuits for functional test equipment and ensure they operate reliably under test conditions.Hours:
7:00am-3:30pm Minimum of an Associate degree in a related discipline. At least five years of directly related experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair. Hands-on experience with RF testing and electronics, including RF emissions and susceptibility testing. Proficiency in applying electronic theory and related knowledge to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic equipment. Familiarity with EMI/EMC test equipment and test procedures. Ability to use all standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators. Ability to use specialized RF test equipment for testing and evaluation of electronic circuitry. Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and systems, including component-level diagnosis and repair. Experience with EMI and EMC testing of electrical and electronic equipment from module to complete system level. Capability to perform test setup, measurements, instrument verification and calibration, and data collection. Ability to perform calculations using Ohm's law and power formulas. Experience with circuit testing and building circuits for functional test equipment.Pay:
