Job Description

We are seeking a skilled controls technician to support, maintain, and enhance the systems that help power operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring uptime and improving systems reliability. This person will receive extremely competitive salary along with profit-sharing bonuses and production incentive bonuses. If you have the necessary experience you are encouraged to apply!
Job Description:
  • Perform PLC programming changes and modifications (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred)
  • Programming of VFD's; HMI interfacing
  • Execute instrument calibration
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Troubleshoot and repair plant operating systems with minimal downtime; troubleshoot all electrical components, PLC's, and controls
  • Analyze all electrical systems, support and effectively recommend improvements or changes to insure efficiency, dependability, and currency;
  • Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests;
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, repairing, or upgrading equipment; to detect and prevent problems;
  • Consult with customers, supervisors, or engineers to plan layout of equipment or to resolve problems in system operation or maintenance
Qualifications:
