Electronics TechnicianJob Description We are seeking an Electronics Technician to work in close partnership with our engineering team. This role involves prototyping engineering designs and conducting various tests, including weather and pressure testing. The technician will engage in technical simulations and collaborate closely with engineers to prototype units effectively. Responsibilities Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems. Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as needed based on testing results. Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Essential Skills Technician experience. Experience working closely with engineers in a digital environment. Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred. 2-3 years of experience in a related field. Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite in an engineering lab located in Newtown, PA. The lab features electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment to simulate space conditions. Lab attire is required, and the work shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves working with flight test instrumentation, including recorders designed to work with acquisition products and various types of sensors, in both commercial and military applications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
