Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Provide plant wide electrical coverage for troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment on fixed shift basis Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical and Automation Control Systems including: Industrial networking- Ethernet, IP, switches, wiring methods Industrial PC's
- hardware, operating systems, peripherals. HMI's
- Intouch, FactoryTalk View PLC's
- Rockwell Logix family, GE Series 90 and GE RXi Maintenance / Programming Software
- experience using RS Logix Motor Control
- full voltage, VFDs (Power Flex, Parker) Safety Systems
- Safety PLCs, Relays, Scanners, Light Curtains, Mats Instrumentation
- Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level, Weight, Speed Electrical Power
- protective devices, power supplies, 480v,120v,24v Tools
- use of meters, calibration/test equipment, and common hand tools Perform prescribed preventive maintenance of electrical and control system equipment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Good understanding of electrical concepts, standards, and technology and the ability to use common tools and accepted practices to safely work with Industrial Electrical / Control Systems. 1+ year of experience with troubleshooting and repair of Industrial electrical/control systems- 24v to 480v.
Additional Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Two-year Associates degree in Automation / Controls, Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation, Computer, or related technical field. In lieu of degree, demonstrated equivalent experience gained from role in military assignments and/or previous industrial work experience. Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting. Experience working on continuous (running) production processes. Understanding and adherence to NFPA 70E, Safe Electrical Work Practices Solid PC skills and proficiency with PC applications. Experience seeking sound solutions and desire to follow best practices. Maintaining a customer focus and a safety mindset in everything you do.Compensation:
The annual base hourly range for this position is $32 to $33 Per Hour . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
