ELECTRONICS-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC RBDS
is expanding our Welder machine (Lincoln and Miller) and Servo motor repair team in our Reading BDS / Reading Electric location. We test, repair, and calibrate welders and in our servo department we test, repair, and align precision servo motors and encoders. - Repairing welders and associated welding equipment and Servo motors and other rotating equipment.
- Occasional servicing and repairing equipment in the field.
QUALIFICATONS
If you already have experience repairing welders or servo motors, we will consider relocating expenses. Electronics training or experience troubleshooting electronic equipment- Strong mechanical ability .
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to look at parts breakdowns and identify parts needed for repairs.
- Must have own small hand tools.
- Ability to use measuring equipment, ex. Micrometers and dial calipers.
- Ability to use a Volt Meter.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Goals oriented to meet individual and company key performance indicators
- Able to lift 85lbs
- High School Degree/GED required.
- Light rigging experience a plus.
- Welding and oxy- acetylene torch experience a plus.
- Light manual machining experience a plus.
- Strong electrical/mechanical background desired.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid driver's license.
- The ideal person must be open to change and willing to learn and contribute to improve processes.
- Normal work days are M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm.
