If you have strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and electrical control systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Perform electrical work including motors, drives, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels. Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures. Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
Essential Skills:
High school diploma or GED required. Industrial Maintenance degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred). Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and automated production systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
