Scranton, Pennsylvania job type: Contract salary: $29.43 - 41.20 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Coordinate vendor construction teams for FTTH, SFU, MDU, and FTTB projects from initial construction through test and turn-up.

Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure fiber optic installation meets customer and industry standards.

Conduct daily site visits and quality inspections using Sitetracker software to evaluate progress and direct contractor activities.

Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential delays with site superintendents, customers, vendors, and city officials.

Enforce safety rules and local construction standards while tracking daily production and material inventory consumption.

qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent with familiarity in underground and aerial telecommunications installation. Ability to read FTTX prints along with a working understanding of fiber optic network architectures and Microsoft Office. Strong self-direction and organizational skills, with availability to travel daily to Pennsylvania job sites (and perform planned overnight stays).
