What You'll Do:
As an Electronic Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping plant electrical and electronic systems running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Performing corrective, preventative, project, and emergency electrical/electronic maintenance on plant equipment and utility systems Troubleshooting, modifying, calibrating, and checking performance on plant equipment Supporting PLC programming and electrical control system work Ensuring electrical equipment and installations meet applicable requirements Completing assigned projects, including planning, purchasing materials, modifications, and major overhauls Monitoring critical equipment and assisting maintenance and production teams as needed Following food safety, quality, GMP, housekeeping, PPE, and OSHA requirements
What You Bring:
High school diploma/GED and/or technical schooling Ability to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate level Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complex troubleshooting instructions and equipment manuals Familiarity with motors, PLCs, controls, instrumentation, servos, electrical distribution, VFDs, and valves Two years of maintenance and/or logistical equipment experience preferred Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a food manufacturing environment
Additional Requirements:
Maintain strong dependability, including an absenteeism rate under 3% Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and other duties as assigned Pass power equipment certification as needed Pass the Ramsey Electrician Technician Test Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, kneeling, repetitive motion, and stair/ladder climbing Comfort working in a food manufacturing environment with loud sounds, occasional heights, and warehouse/external exposure Why This Role?
