Position Summary Join our Electronic & Maintenance team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, with opportunities at Technician I, II, or III based on experience and demonstrated skill. This role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair motors, electrical components, and production equipment. Maintain and repair conveyors, belts, pulleys, rollers, bearings, chains, sprockets, and tensioners. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement. Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, sensors, safety devices, and common industrial signals. Test motors, circuits, and equipment using meters and other maintenance tools. Support pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including hoses, valves, cylinders, filters, and related components. Read and use electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals during repairs. Identify equipment failures, complete repairs within level of responsibility, and escalate complex issues appropriately. Document maintenance work and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications & Competencies Experience with industrial equipment, motors, conveyors, drive systems, controls, and related components. Ability to read electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, meters, and maintenance testing equipment. Strong safety mindset, reliability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Interest in continued development in PLCs, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication.
Experience Level Guidelines Technician I:
Developing technician with 0-2 years of relevant maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or technical training/experience.Technician II:
Experienced technician able to independently troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment.Technician III:
Advanced technician with strong diagnostic skills and deeper experience in controls, PLCs/automation, motors, and complex equipment troubleshooting. Final level will be determined based on demonstrated experience, technical knowledge, and skill set.
